Elettronica Santerno South Africa, a market leader operating in the power generation and industrial automation, is looking for an Account Officer to be based in its office in Southern Johannesburg on a temporary basis (4/6 months).
The ideal candidate will have substantial exposure to day by day admin process managing, monthly closing processes, forecasting and budgeting, customer billing, tracking and recording of office related expenditures.
The ideal candidate will be organized, approach each issue with an analytical mindset, be proactive in tackling and finalizing open issues under his/her sphere of influence.
Responsibilities
Ensure business transactions are reported in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles;
Work closely with project team members to assist with project related expense (suppliers and workforce) and month-end close;
Process monthly payroll according to site reporting;
Assist CFO team with drafting cash-flows, financial statements and monthly reporting for HQ;
Research and analyze expense variances for company management
Qualifications
5+ years' of professional accounting experience
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics or equivalent experience
Solid Experience with Pastel and MS Office it's a must have.
