ItalCham's annual charity gala dinner is dedicated to recognizing the efforts of the Italian business community. The evening is open to all Italcham members and stakeholders within the community with a pride in the business achievements of Italians in South Africa. The evening also serves as an important opportunity to raise funds for charity. In 2024, R135 000 was raised for the Little Eden Foundation.

European Chamber Golf Day
Join members of the bilateral European Chambers for a day of golf in Johannesburg and Cape Town. The day includes a post round dinner open to all European chamber members and stake holders of the EU chamber.

Italy in Town
The authentic Italian Street Festival is a celebration of Italian culture in the heart of Cape Town. This event brings together more than 8 000 food lovers, wine enthusiasts, musicians, cultural organisations, families and unique Italian businesses to create a lively and one of a kind Italian experience.
The Italian community’s gift to the city, Italy in Town features a vibrant marketplace made up of 12 food vendors, 10 wine vendors, 6 retail/product vendors, and 3 bars, showcasing the very best of Italian cuisine, fine wines, and artisanal products. The festival also offers a variety of entertainment options for all ages, including live music and activities for children. With an anticipated attendance of at least 2 500 people per day, Italy in Town is now an official highlight on Cape Town’s annual event calendar.
