The traditional commemoration of former Italian prisoners and soldiers who fell in war in the Province of Kwa-Zulu Natal will take place on Sunday 27 October 2024 at the “Madonna delle Grazie” Church in Pietermaritzburg (127 Epworth Road, Scottsville, Pietermaritzburg).
The ceremony will begin at 10:00 with the celebration of the Holy Mass and the blessing of the tombs. It will be followed by the laying of wreaths by the Authorities.
The Consulate General of Italy in Johannesburg is pleased to invite the entire Italian community to the ceremony.
