About Us

Italcham’s mission is to promote, develop and encourage trade and commercial activities between South Africa and Italy and to promote the business interests of entrepreneurs. Founded in 1983 by a group of 15 prominent South African businessmen of Italian origin, the Chamber has an Executive Committee elected by the Members on annual base.

We offer a wide range of valuable services. We provide advice on business, host networking events and give support on important issues that might affect your company. Thanks to our bilateral compliance, we can provide services both to Italian firms willing to operate in the South African market, and vice versa to South African companies interested in the Italian one.

With the head office located in the heart of Johannesburg and an important branch operating in Cape Town, the Chamber is able to cover the whole South African territory in order to help you in finding the best solution for your business. We offer a wide range of services to members and non-members and assist in trade and investments in both directions, which can be personalized to suit your needs.
